Awab Atef Muhammad Saleh, known as Awab Atef is one of the few who uses his real name and did not give himself a pseudonym. Awab Atef, born in Omdurman Umbada, in one of the ancient neighborhoods in Sudan , he then he moved to the capital Khartoum and grew up there.Awab’s beginning was with poetry in the year 2010,


His beginning in rap was in the form of poetry in 2010, and the actual beginning was the song “algtl al3md” meaning" first degree murder" in 2022. The song was produced by “mshakil”.

Then he disappeared for a period of about two years and returned with a mixtape called “fatarat.”

Awab is distinguished by his eloquence in writing, depth of topics, strong metaphors, and high culture in writing his songs. He has a special charisma that distinguishes him  from the rest of rappers.Awab is considered at the beginning of his artistic career and in the stage of forming his artistic identity, But hes proved himself among the first ranks of the Sudanese scene.



Awab appeared on the “rap shar3” program presented by the wonderful presenter, “Black b”. The performance was strong from Awab in cooperation with the emerging artist “Ghayaz”. My regards to him. Awab's first appearance in an official interview was on the "Quarterfinals" (rob3 alnhay) program. It was a nice and light interview, and it brought him close to the audience.



Awab is a very strong addition to the Sudanese scene, with his unique style and the power of his words

We expect the artistic transformation that he will make after the album “Fatarat”
